Fugro Data Solutions acquires archiving assets from Divestco Inc.

Fugro is pleased to announce its acquisition of the assets and contracts in Canada from Divestco Inc. - providing online archiving and technical records management.

The operation has an annual turnover of approximately EUR 2.2 million and provides specialist services to leading oil and gas companies. The purchase of these assets is complimentary to the other acquisitions in Calgary and provides an expansion of the online data centre capacity.

The business will be integrated into Fugro Data Solutions and provide opportunities for the online management of seismic as well as the potential to host other data sets generated by Fugro.

Divestco and Fugro have entered into a long term contract for Fugro to continue to provide these services to Divestco and its clients.

Fugro Data Solutions is a E&P Data Management specialist with major operations in Canada, UK, USA, The Netherlands, Singapore and India. Fugro Data Solutions has approximately 400 staff globally, employed on activities related to storage, data management online services and technology development.
